Who I Am

Hello, I'm Rachel and I'm a Dona Trained Doula, and the path that I took to get here today was many years in the making.
Many years ago a family member had a doula for her birth, and right there, my interest was sparked and over the years I would think, maybe this year I will do this, but, as we all know life always has something to get in the way. It wasn't until I had my own medicated hospital birth of my child, did I fully want to go ahead and begin my own doula journey.
I completed my doula and childbirth education through Salt Lake Community College, and from there I completed a postpartum doula training, advanced doula and then Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (vbac) with the vbac link. 

Birth is not a one size fits all situation. My goal as your doula is to make your birth a memorable experience. Whether you have a medicated or unmedicated hospital, birth center, or home birth, I'm by your side. I will provide you with all the information you need, empowering you to have blessed day as you bring your baby into this world.
